Charter Membership Terms

Terms and Regulatory Notice for the FinFlo Charter membership, available to international YEM Exchange accounts.

This is not an investment

A Charter membership is a fixed-term, non-refundable purchase of member benefits. It is not an investment, deposit, savings product, loan, security, or share in FinFlo. It carries no interest, no dividend, no profit share, no revenue share, no token allocation, and no expectation of financial return. Nothing you pay is held on your behalf or repayable to you.

1) What a membership is

You pay a fixed price for a fixed term. In exchange you receive the benefits listed in section 3 for the duration of that term. When the term ends the benefits stop, and you may renew or not, as you choose.

2) What the fees fund

Charter fees are ring-fenced to fund FinFlo's enrolment with international payment providers, so that international users can cash out to their own country's payment rails rather than holding value in the Converted Wallet. Progress is published per corridor, including what has been raised and what has been spent, on the Funding Transparency page.

3) What membership includes

  • Corridor head start. Early access to each newly opened payout corridor, for the number of days shown against your tier.
  • Priority payout review. Your withdrawal requests are placed ahead of the standard queue.
  • A bundled exchange limit level, maintained for the duration of your term.
  • A monthly allowance of fee-free transactions, which does not roll over between months.
  • A higher Converted Wallet balance ceiling, as shown against your tier.
  • A vote on which corridor we pursue next. The vote is advisory.

Charter Plus $251 12 months 3 15 15 days

4) Corridors open to everyone

Every payout corridor opens to all international users, whether or not they hold a membership. Membership buys the head start, priority, higher caps and lower fees — never the right to withdraw your own money. FinFlo will not place a corridor permanently behind membership, and will not require a payment as a condition of accessing funds already held in your account.

5) Corridors are a goal, not a guarantee

Enrolment with a payment provider depends on that provider's own assessment, and applications involving digital assets are declined regularly across many jurisdictions. We publish each corridor's status honestly, including when one is blocked and why. No corridor is promised, and no date is committed. The membership benefits in section 3 are delivered regardless of whether any particular corridor opens, and you should judge the price against those benefits alone.

6) Non-refundable

Membership fees are not refundable, in whole or in part, including where a corridor does not open, is delayed, or is blocked. Payments are collected by third-party processors and are not held by FinFlo on your behalf.

7) Term, renewal and lapse

Your term runs from the date your payment completes. Renewing before your term ends adds the new term to the time you have left rather than replacing it. When a term lapses the benefits stop automatically; your membership history and contribution record are retained.

8) Eligibility

Charter membership is available to international (non-Ugandan) YEM Exchange accounts only. Ugandan accounts are served by the separate Founding Supporter Program. Benefits that raise transaction or balance limits may additionally require identity verification.

9) No insurance

Charter membership does not include insurance cover. Insurance is no longer offered under the Ugandan Founding Supporter Program either, and is closed to new enrollments there; cover already issued to existing Ugandan members continues under its own policy terms until it ends.

10) Changes

We may change tier pricing and the benefits offered to new memberships. Benefits already purchased are honoured for the remainder of the term you paid for. If a benefit becomes impossible to deliver, we will say so on the transparency page rather than quietly withdraw it.

11) Regulatory position

FinFlo is not presented as a licensed deposit-taking institution, and a Charter membership does not create a deposit, an account balance, or any claim on FinFlo's assets. For FinFlo's legal registration, processor disclosures and regulatory position, see Transparency & Compliance.

12) Contact

Questions about these terms can be raised through the contact channels on our Contact page.
